Banners and Backdrops are a specialty for Kustomotive.

Banners and Backdrops were a large part of John’s early years.  Over 40 local music groups had John’s backdrops and logos. (Plus painted drum heads and guitars)

John was soon doing large scale backdrops for bands such as the Beach Boys and Charlie Daniels.  Some banners are over 120 feet long and 15 feet high.

Car Clubs and Radio Stations are regular customers of John’s artwork.

Vinyl Graphics

For duplication and economy you have to go with vinyl, not to fear!

My client wanted a highly detailed illustration of a motorcycle painted on his business vans.  To paint each of the vans would cost $1500 each so I suggested we do ‘one’ Illustration, Scan it, and then print it on large adhesive film.  He applied it to 3 vans for the cost of one. He was also able to use ‘the same artwork’ for his signs, business cards, and jackets.

Thanks to high tech scanners and printers you can have the economy of printed signage and the joy of hand lettered style.   Modern scanners can reproduce hand lettered graphics, and then ‘Roll’  Printers can print from the scan onto a single sheet of film for application to anything.
